Tony Micelli, a widow and former baseball player retired due to an injury wants to raise his daughter in a better environment so they move out of Brooklyn to Fairfield, Connecticut. Tony starts working as a housekeeper for Angela Bower a rich and divorced business woman. She lives with her son, Jonathan (booooring) and her mother Mona who is dating all kind of men.
I wasn’t addicted at all to the show, I just remember that I was totally in love with Samantha Micelli (Tony’s daughter) played by Alyssa Milano 
It was broadcast for eight seasons on ABC from 1984 to 1992.
