Furby

By ImThatOld August 29 20117 memories

If you’re born these last 20 years, you had a Furby or you wanted to have one.

The commercial was amazing, it’ almost s a living animal ! it reminded me Gizmo from the Gremlins… It was a fluffy electronic robot, some sort of creature born from the love of an Ewok and an owl. It was kind of cute until it starts to talk… it was talking all day long ! couldn’t stop it and you had to learn their language so hard to know at the beginning if it was hungry, bored or just in an annoying mood. The solution ? you lock it in the closet and pick it up the next morning… or not :)

Furbies could talk together and they seemed to understand each others… I guess it’s a good thing they’re not sold anymore they probably would have take control of the world by now.

The furbies were the must-have toys in 1998.

Here’s a furbies conversation : (certainly preparing a riot or something…)

These three girls were obsessed with Ed, Edd n Eddy. May preferred Ed, Marie preferred Edd, and Lee preferred Eddy. The girls tormented the boys with hugs, kisses and all sorts of other torture. The Kanker Sisters’ emotions ran differently every episode. Sometimes they would have a hate for the boys, other times, strong affection. Either way, Ed, Edd n Eddy did not like it. The boys always ran at the sight of them. The sisters usually won over them. Though sometimes, the boys did manage to escape.
